Due to security requirements the NCP carpark underneath Manchester Central will be closed for the duration of Conference.
We’ll be operating enhanced security measure this year. We work closely with Manchester Police, G4S security staff and venue security teams to keep the Conference safe for delegates. Your full co-operation with police, security staff and stewards will reduce any delays on site.
Manchester Police will be conducting patrols in and around the conference footprint and wider City Centre. Manchester Police use specially trained high visibility and plain clothes officers to provide a reassuring presence and build a network of vigilance which makes it difficult for criminals to operate. Deployments are made up of a range of police resources which can include police dogs, armed police officers, CCTV operators and security staff, CCTV and ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition).
