Every summer, CCHQ teams up with the Patchwork Foundation to provide paid summer internships for young people.
This is an exciting opportunity to introduce yourself to the world of politics, make connections, and new friends, get training and experience across multiple departments of the Conservative Party.
This six-week scheme places you at the heart of Westminster, and the skills you’ll learn will put you in good stead for a future career in politics, public affairs, consultancy and much more.

As a campaigning organisation, campaigning is at the core of everything we do at CCHQ - and it will be a central part of your internship. You’ll be actively involved in understanding how our campaigns are developed and delivered, while also gaining valuable insight into how the wider organisation works.
During your internship, you will:

We believe that talent exists everywhere – no matter your background or where you come from.
We believe that we’re at our best when our organisation reflects all the communities we serve and represent.
That’s why we set up the summer internship scheme.
Working together with the Patchwork Foundation, we’ll help you discover the diversity of modern politics, including digital, press, campaigning, marketing, research and more.
You will experience a wide range of project work and activities equipping you with the essential skills to work in politics or anywhere else.
The scheme is designed to support and hopefully attract young adults who may not have thought a career in politics was possible by providing the skills, insight, experiences, and pastoral support needed to overcome any barriers.
So don’t rule yourself out – apply today!

Please note: all candidates must be able to secure accommodation enabling them to commute conveniently to the CCHQ London office as the internship is intended to be in person.
We will carry out standard background checks prior to appointments.

The CCHQ Internship scheme will be in collaboration with the Patchwork Foundation. The Patchwork Foundation works to promote and encourage the positive integration of disadvantaged and minority communities into British democracy and civil society. Read more about the Patchwork Foundation.
