Applications for Summer 2026 are now open:

in collaboration with

CCHQ’s Summer Internship Scheme

Every summer, CCHQ teams up with the Patchwork Foundation to provide paid summer internships for young people.

This is an exciting opportunity to introduce yourself to the world of politics, make connections, and new friends, get training and experience across multiple departments of the Conservative Party.

This six-week scheme places you at the heart of Westminster, and the skills you’ll learn will put you in good stead for a future career in politics, public affairs, consultancy and much more.

What could the internship include?

As a campaigning organisation, campaigning is at the core of everything we do at CCHQ - and it will be a central part of your internship. You’ll be actively involved in understanding how our campaigns are developed and delivered, while also gaining valuable insight into how the wider organisation works.

During your internship, you will:

  • Be right at the centre of our campaigning work, seeing how ideas become strategy and strategy becomes delivery - both behind the scenes and on the ground.
  • Get involved in our Digital team, helping to create and schedule content for our social media channels and seeing how digital strategy drives our campaigning work.
  • Gain exposure to our Senior Management Team, learning what it takes to run a political organisation day to day.
  • Gain an insight into our Press and Research teams gaining hands-on experience with our Policy, Briefing and Political teams
