Even though no one wanted it, Labour pushed hard for months to pass their Chagos Surrender Deal.
A deal that would have given up strategic territory and had the British taxpayer pay BILLIONS for the privilege.
This deal was a farce, which is why we opposed it every step of the way.
And now thanks to Conservative pressure Keir Starmer has finally backed down and axed the deal entirely.
Starmer waved the white flag and undermined our standing in global politics. In a time of uncertainty, we cannot afford to look weak.
