Crime must have consequences

Right now, 92% of all crimes go unsolved.

This cannot continue.

Too much of the police’s time is spent on policing tweets and social media content, rather than facing the real issues.  

We need to get serious on crime. And the Conservatives are the only party with the real plan to take back our streets.

People are concerned. And they’re right to be.

None of the other parties have a serious plan on crime.  

Labour has proven they’re not up to the task; the Lib Dems don’t have a serious plan and Reform are too busy pulling political stunts.  

Unlike the other parties we’ll take the steps needed to get crime under control.  

We will:

• Deploy 10,000 more police officers.
• Triple Stop & Search to take knives and drugs off the streets.
• Mandate that suspects images are always run through facial recognition, to help catch more criminals.
• Always follow up geo location signals for stolen goods, to crack down on phone snatchers and return property to its rightful owner.
• Slash police bureaucracy, freeing seven million hours of police time each year
• Introduce ‘Immediate Justice’ community sentences issued by police so those committing lower-level offences clean up graffiti, and our streets and Parks.

The Conservatives are on the side of the law-abiding majority, and we’ll take the steps needed to keep our streets safe.
