As of 8pm on Friday 8th of May, the Conservatives have regained control of Westminster Council from Labour and successfully held councils in Broxbourne, Harlow, Fareham, Kensington and Chelsea, Bexley, Bromley, and Hillingdon.

Jason Perry has been re-elected as Mayor of Croydon, and the Conservatives have gained seats on several other councils from Trafford to Swindon. The Conservatives now also control Wandsworth council and are the largest party on Enfield Council.

These results are a testament to the hard work local councillors, candidates, activists and MPs have put into delivering for their area.

The Conservatives will continue to rebuild our party and fight for families who struggling under this Labour Government.

Every council we run is somewhere we can keep taxes down for hardworking families, deliver better schools for our children, fix more potholes, keep our streets safe and clean, and stand up to Keir Starmer on behalf of local residents.
