Youth unemployment is at its highest level in a decade, graduate recruitment is at the lowest level on record, and too many are going straight from education to welfare.
This cannot continue, young people in the UK are trying to get by while Labour raise their taxes and cut out opportunities from under them.

By reducing the state subsidy for bad-value degree courses, we can cap the interest rates at inflation level, and not a penny higher. Ending the unfair treadmill and help us fund 100,000 more apprenticeships.
And to help young people get the best possible start in life we will offer a £5,000 First Job bonus.
