After months of Conservative pressure Labour has finally done the right thing and announced a ban from social media for under-16s.
Labour spent the last four months telling concerned parents a social media ban for children was unnecessary.
But the risks couldn’t be ignored any longer.
Online, children are in danger of being introduced to harmful and extremist content from illicit actors.
But now thanks to pressure from the Conservatives, concerned parents, teachers and campaigners we’ve forced Labour into yet another U-turn.
