Dear local farmer,
As Leader of the Conservative Party, I have to say… Thank you.
Because of you, Labour backed down.
When they came for Britain’s family farms they thought rural Britain would shrug and accept it. They were wrong.
You spoke up. You backed the campaign to stop the Family Farm Tax. You got farmers to rally, you badgered Labour MPs in your areas. You helped us force them into a partial U-turn.
But let’s be clear. This fight is not over. Labour did not scrap the tax, they just softened the policy.
Too many farms are still at risk. Too many families still face being forced to sell land that has been in their name for generations.
We have more to do. And I need your help to finish the job.
If you can, please make a donation today to help fund the next phase of the campaign to stop the Family Farm Tax.
Over the coming months, we will take this fight into the local elections: where Labour is most
exposed and most vulnerable. Rural councils. Market towns.
Communities that feed this country.
We are going to make the Family Farm Tax impossible for them to hide from.
We will put the facts in front of voters in every ward where it matters. We will expose the councillorswho defend this policy. We will remind every rural family what is at stake.
Your donation will help us:
Under the Political Parties, Elections and Referendums Act 2000 (PPERA) you must be on the electoral register in the UK excluding the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man in order to make a donation of more than £500.
If you donate more than £11,180 to the Party, we are obliged under the Political Parties, Elections and Referendums Act 2000 to report such a donation to the Electoral Commission, who will publish the fact that you have made a donation over £11,180.
