It is time for Britain to leave the ECHR.It is time for Britain to leave the ECHR.

As you know, our country has long suffered from a pervasive lawfare - the deliberate misuse of our legal system and meritless challenges made to further activist agendas.

That’s why Kemi Badenoch appointed the eminent King's Counsel and Shadow Attorney General Lord Wolfson to look into lawfare, particularly the abuse of the ECHR.

Abuse that has frustrated this country’s efforts to secure its borders.

Abuse that led to unfair prosecutions of our veterans.

Abuse that stymied attempts to deport those with no right to be here.

Lord Wolfson has now concluded his review, and made clear that it would be possible, both legally and practically, to leave the ECHR.

In light of this advice, Kemi Badenoch has now decided to pledge withdrawal from the Convention as Party policy – taking a political decision, backed by the Shadow Cabinet, to restore the primacy and sovereignty of Parlaiment and the laws it enacts.

If you think Britain should leave the ECHR too - let us know. Support our campaign and sign up below.
