100,000 more migrants each and every year – that’s what Keir Starmer and Labour’s plan for Britain’s borders means.
Today Labour have revealed they would open the door to over 100,000 illegal migrants from the EU, failing to take the long term decisions to stop the boats and tackle illegal migration.
Finally, the public can see Keir Starmer’s plan for illegal migration – he’ll make it legal. He’ll take the easy way out and ignore the will of the British people to cut numbers and instead cut a deal with the EU. He will open borders by the back door.
Starmer and Labour's record on stopping the boats is clear – they have voted 72 times to block new laws to secure Britain’s borders.
In fact, Keir Starmer has NEVER voted to toughen Britain’s immigration system.
When running for Labour leader in 2020 – he said ‟We have to make the case for freedom of movement.” He went further to say he would ‟bring back” freedom of movement.
Meanwhile, Rishi Sunak and the Conservatives are getting on and stopping the boats by:
- Signing returns agreements with Albania – deporting 3,529 since December
- Signing enforcement deals with France and Turkey – stopping 33,000 crossings
- Passing the Stop the Boats Act – meaning the only route to Britain is a legal one
- More enforcement in the Channel – with a 20% reduction in crossings
While we get on with delivering for the British people and stopping the boats, Keir Starmer is surrendering our borders to the EU.
