Stop Labour’s Strikes

Labour is backing the biggest rail strikes in Britain since 1989.

Labour's strikes will cause a week of chaos – costing families more to get to work, impacting NHS operations and disrupting students taking GCSE exams.

Commenting, Oliver Dowden CBE MP, Chairman of the Conservative Party, said:

Families are facing global cost of living pressures. Labour's response? Backing national rail strikes.
Starmer is on strike

Not to be outdone, Sadiq Khan, the Labour Mayor of London, is delivering chaos for everyone travelling in or to London, with an allout tube strike on 21st June and taxing motorists even more by expanding his Ultra Low Emissions Zone.

These measures will be bad for everyone, but will hit the poorest hardest: people won't be able to get to the hospital or get to work.

This is Sadiq Khan's vision for London

Transport Secretary Grant Shapps said:

We cannot give way to [union] blackmail. This is a defining moment for our economy. Do we modernise ourselves and move forward to increased productivity and prosperity?

Or return to an era we thought long gone – that of rapacious union barons, stagnating industry and double-digit inflation?

We all know the answer.
