Jeremy Corbyn's Labour Party can't be trusted on national security

Britain’s nuclear deterrent has been the bedrock of our country’s national security for decades, safeguarding the nation and helping to secure our place in the world.

It is a decision that no Prime Minister wants to have to make, but the message our deterrent sends to our enemies is clear: no matter the circumstance or threat, the UK will always be capable of responding.

That Jeremy Corbyn wants to scrap our nuclear capability, making us more vulnerable to intimidation by rogue states, is well known. That even his Shadow Foreign Secretary doesn’t trust him to make crucial decisions to keep our country safe is terrifying.

Just like they haven’t been able to decide on Brexit, Jeremy Corbyn’s Labour Party can’t be trusted not to dither on fundamental matters of national security that threaten our way of life.
