Office Executive


 A great opportunity has arisen for a confident self-starter Office Executive at Conservative Campaign Headquarters to join the Party Chairman’s Office.  We are looking for a proactive, hands-on team player to support a busy Chairman’s team.  This is an exciting opportunity to work within a great team.


The successful candidate will assist the Party's Chairman, Deputy Chairman and Vice Chairmen in their roles by providing day-to-day office support


Responsibilities will include:


  • To assist with drafting high quality correspondence, and accurate replies to letters and e-mails on behalf of the Chairman, the Deputy Chairman and Vice Chairmen.
  • To assist with the successful delivery of projects and assignments working with, and on behalf of, the Chairman, Deputy Chairman and Vice Chairmen.
  • Be capable of co-ordinating and organising events.
  • Support the Deputy Chairman and Vice Chairmen with scheduling meetings, appointments and travel arrangements.
  • Produce minutes of meetings in a concise and timely manner.
  • Be flexible and provide cover for other staff members working for the Chairman in case of absence
  • Provide varied office support to the Chairman, Deputy Chairman and Vice Chairmen.


Essential skills required:


  • Outstanding communication skills and strong attention to detail.
  • An ability to prioritise workloads effectively, and work well under pressure within a fast-paced political office. a
  • A strong, pro-active work ethic and the ability to communicate effectively with senior CCHQ employees, Members of Parliament, and Conservative Party volunteers.
  • A good university degree or equivalent.
  • Strong political knowledge, understanding and judgement
  • A commitment to the Conservative Party's aims and values.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally.


  • Experience of working within UK politics
