The Conservative Party is seeking to hire a Digital Director. Reporting to the Political Director of the Party, the successful applicant will lead the production of all digital and online creative communications, as well as overseeing the Party’s website.
Responsibilities will include:
Working closely with senior Party figures to develop digital strategy and output that meets the Party’s political objectives.
Making recommendations and leading the implementation of, the Party’s visual branding, working closely with our in-house design team on campaigning and other communication materials.
Managing the Party’s external agencies, including advertising, design, film and media agencies.
Having managerial responsibility for the Party’s Digital and Creative Team and a number of direct reports.
The successful applicant will have a substantive and demonstrable track record and experience of online advertising and marketing, either/both client-side (creative agencies etc) and/or agency-side, and able to demonstrate strategic leadership and management along with strong creative judgement.
Strong leader, manager and implementor in this functional area.
Excellent political judgement based on a thorough knowledge of politics and current affairs.
