We will be hosting hustings for Party members in every corner of the United Kingdom over the next few weeks, so don’t miss out on your chance to hear from both candidates and make up your mind on who will become our next Leader.
When registering for a ticket you’ll see that there is a £5 administration charge. This charge will help offset the costs of running these events, meaning we can continue to fund our ongoing campaigns.
Hustings events commence at 7pm on the dates shown below, except for our hustings in Belfast, which will commence at 1pm.
To attend in person, you must be a qualifying member of the Conservative Party and ticket sales will close 48 hours before the event with the venue location confirmed by email closer to the date. If you are unable to attend in person, registration is now open for our livestreams.
Only qualifying members, at the time of hustings, can attend. Membership will be validated prior to ticket dispatch.

After you’ve booked your ticket through this website we’ll send you an acknowledgement email. We’ll then check that you’re a current member of the Party. 48 hours before the event, you’ll then receive your ticket email. Please print this ticket email and bring it with you or be prepared to show it on your phone.
Venue details and travel information will also be included in your ticket email.
Please bring one form of government-approved photo ID with you to confirm your identity. This is in addition to your ticket email.
No. Membership cards or membership certificates are not required to vote in this or other Party elections nor to attend a hustings. Membership cards are no longer produced for Party members.
You will need your membership number to make your booking. Your membership number is displayed on your membership certificate sent at time of joining or renewing. We will also include it in your ballot pack and emails we send you regarding this election.
For in-person hustings, the audience will have the opportunity to ask questions. Make yourself known to stewards at the appropriate section of the evening, when asked to do so by the moderator.
For virtual attendees, details of how to submit questions ahead of time will be communicated shortly.
There is no need to notify us if you are no longer able to attend a hustings. Sadly, we are unable to refund administration fees.
Yes. On the booking page, select the Online/Virtual option. You will be asked to make a donation to the Party and then sent an acknowledgement email with your ‘getting online’ instructions.
