I was elected MP for Hornchurch and Upminster in 2017. My background is in public service – and working with my constituents, I believe we can build on the progress our area is making.
We’ve got fantastic primary schools. But we need to make sure our secondary schools meet the same standards. So I’ll work with local teachers and residents to keep driving up our standards – giving all our children the best possible start in life.
As Havering grows, our healthcare and community services need to grow with it. So working with local doctors, police and developers – we can make sure future generations have the resources they need to live locally.
And we can make Brexit work for Hornchurch and Upminster. As a member of the International Trade Select Committee, I’m working with local businesses and the government to improve skills. Increase exports. And build the infrastructure we need. So Brexit works for locals – bringing more jobs and a stronger economy.
