I was born and raised in a council estate in Angus. My father was a butcher and my mother was a shop assistant. I have lived in Stirling with my wife and children since 1982.
So I know what matters to the people of Stirling – because the same things matter to me. Jobs, the economy, working hard and getting on in life. And my long experience in business has given me the skills to get things done for our community.
As your MP, I’ll focus on improving the education and job opportunities for all my constituents. Which is how we improve the standard of living for everyone. And as a grandfather of six children, there’s nothing more important to me than securing the future for our next generation.
