After growing up in Aberdeenshire, I served for three years as an officer in the British Navy. So my background is in public service – just as my background is in Aberdeenshire.
That’s why I care about the issues that concern you – because, as a local, they concern me too.
Like broadband access. Since being elected in 2017, I’ve been working with locals to get more broadband access for rural areas in our constituency. And together, we can speed up the rollout of fibre broadband. So no matter where you live, you can get access to the services you need.
And stopping dangerous driving in Marykirk village. Locals regularly see cars and lorries breaking the speed limit and putting lives at risk.
So working together with the police, the Council and local residents, we’re introducing speed checks at rush hours. And helping police monitor the situation. Keeping you and your family safe – and making our area a nicer place to live in.
