Conference Dinner
The Conference Dinner is at the Palace Hotel on Tuesday 6 October with Guest Speaker The Rt. Hon. William Hague MP, Shadow Foreign Secretary. This is the largest social event on the conference fringe. It gives an opportunity for Party members and the Business community to mix with members of the Shadow Cabinet, captains of industry and well known faces from the world of entertainment and sport. Traditionally it is held outside the secure area to enable the business community to invite guests without having to obtain additional security passes.

Save the Great British Pub Quiz - NEW EVENT

Nearly 6 pubs close every day of the week, and with local pubs under threat, we believe that the Government should be doing more to save the Great British pub. 33% of the price of every pint goes in Beer Tax to the Chancellor. Now the Government plans to increase beer tax further. The Conservative Party is working to raise awareness about the threat to local pubs, so often one of the hubs of the local community.
With Party Chairman Eric Pickles kicking off the Save the Great British Pub Quiz, we will raise awareness of the threat to our pubs as well as bring delegates together for a high profile pub quiz. In addition we hope to have some celebrity and senior party representatives delivering the questions. Held in the pub at The Palace Hotel (Oxford Street, Manchester M60 7HA) on Monday 5 October from 18.00 - 19.30, the event will also include a hog roast and a vegetation option for hungry contestants. Teams of four or six can be entered or alternatively teams can be made up on the night and prizes include shopping vouchers and restaurant vouchers at locations around the city.
Ticket Sales:
£10.00 each, to include the hog roast (vegetarian option available). To book your tickets to this exciting new event please complete the Save the Great British Pub Quiz Form.
Please contact Eugene Keane to discuss any queries you may have regarding your booking on 0207 984 8395 or email eugene.keane@conservatives.com.
