Ewan Lamont

Ewan is a Senior Producer and Programme Manager for Monumental Games, a Nottingham based online games developer.  Ewan is a specialist in business change and new start-ups with management experience in different business environments including retail, publishing and automotive. He has managed the creation of three start-up businesses including a £5 million Vehicle Data Supplier.

Ewan has stood twice as a Conservative candidate in the Nottingham City Council elections campaigning against Labour who have allowed drug and welfare dependency to blight Nottingham and allowed the city's reputation to change from the entertainment capital of the UK to the crime capital of the UK.  As a new father and a resident of the City Ewan has a strong stake holding in the future of Nottingham and cares passionately about its' success.

Ewan is married to Gillian who teaches at a primary school in Nottingham and they have a baby daughter: Elizabeth.

Ewan's interests include video and board games, film and theatre, sailing, outdoor pursuits and contact sports - Ewan played for the city of Nottingham's American football team for five years.  Ewan is also keenly interested in human history and our local heritage.  He has a Masters Degree in Classical Civilization and Archaeology from the University of Glasgow and is currently writing a paper on St Nicholas.
