Charles Heslop has been an active member of the Conservative Party in the North East of England for the last twenty years. He has served the Voluntary Party at every level since becoming a member, through to becoming Constituency Chairman (Hexham), and is currently Regional Chairman of the North East. As a former District Councillor and still a Parish Councillor, Charles has demonstrated dedication and commitment to the party for over two decades.
Living in the Tyne Valley, in the heart of Northumberland Charles runs two investment companies and a property company based in Newcastle. He is a keen supporter of his local community and has recently been involved in raising money for the refurbishment of his local village hall. He is a keen walker, enjoys reading historical biographies, going to the theatre and cinema, and when time permits is an amateur actor.
Charles over the years has established a reputation for enthusiasm, dedication and hard work. He always enjoys campaign days and leading from the front!
