Born in Buckinghamshire, Norman was educated at Dr Challoner's Grammar School, Amersham and Brunel University, where he read Mechanical Engineering before commencing his accountancy career. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
During his professional career he worked as the Director of Finance for Arthur Andersen, Vice President and Finance Director for Oracle Corporation and before joining the Party was the Global Chief Operating Officer for Herbert Smith LLP.
In August 2010 he joined the Party as Chief Operating Officer and Registered Treasurer.
Norman is married with 2 daughters, and splits his time between Bedfordshire and Derbyshire.
