Ollerenshaw Eric

Eric is a tough no-nonsense campaigner who knows how to get a job done. Born and bred in Lancashire and now living in Lancaster , Eric was selected by Lancaster and Fleetwood residents in an Open Primary as their Conservative Prospective Parliamentary Candidate back in March.

A History teacher by profession, he taught the subject at several comprehensive schools for nearly thirty years. Eric sees education as the best way to get the most out of youngsters and put them on the path to success.

Throughout his life, Eric has also frequently been a governor of a number of primary and secondary schools. Additionally, the former teacher has been a board member of several charities and supported numerous community groups.

When he has the time, he enjoys reading, keeping fit, listening to music and socialising with friends.
