Brandon Lewis

For relaxation Brandon enjoys a variety of sports as well as reading, the theatre and cinema.

Brandon completed the London Marathon in 2005, raising £7,000 for charity.

Professionally, Brandon is a qualified Barrister and is a Company Director.

  • LLM (Merit) in Commercial Law from King's College, London.
  • LLB Hons (Law) with a II:I from the University of Buckingham
  • Barrister, Bar Vocational Course at the Inns of Court School of Law (Inner Temple)
  • BSc in Economics from the University of Buckingham
  • F.Inst.LM: a Fellow of the Institute of Leadership & Management.
  • Brandon is also a member of the Institute of Directors (MinstD).

He runs two companies: Woodlands Schools Ltd and also i5 Consulting limited, which specialises in corporate and communications planning.

Brandon Lewis' Experience

Having been involved in politics since the age of 11, Brandon became a Councillor in 1998 and stood in the General Election in 2001 in Sherwood, Nottinghamshire. He became Leader of the Group on Brentwood Council and in June 2004 became Leader of Brentwood Council.

He is honoured to have been chosen to be the candidate for Great Yarmouth in late 2006. He knows the area well as his family owned a business in the town. Brandon will work to represent all residents in Great Yarmouth and support the future growth and development of the area.
