I live in Colne, in the heart of Pendle and have advice centres in Barnoldswick and Nelson.
Before you elected me, I helped to run a small business in Greater Manchester, working long hours, six days a week. I’m not a career politician and understand the pressures hardworking people across Pendle face.
Since 2010, I’ve fought for a better deal for my fellow residents.
I’ve been a vocal champion for the aerospace sector in Pendle, frequently raising the concerns of local companies in Parliament. The manufacturing sector is vital to our local economy and I’ve worked hard to help businesses create jobs and reduce unemployment.
I’ve helped secure more investment in local health services, including the £4million Colne Health Centre and £9million Urgent Care Centre at Burnley General Hospital which both opened in 2014. My campaign for more investment in education and skills has also been successful with the opening of a new Universit Technical College for our area, a major investment at Nelson and Colne College and four brand new Primary Schools across Pendle.
Since you elected me, I’ve worked tirelessly to champion our area. If you vote for me at the next election, I’ll work as hard as ever for you and your family.
