Anna Soubry

Member of Parliament for Broxtowe

As your MP, I’m here to serve our community, represent your views in Parliament and stand up for your concerns.

I’m a local MP – I was born in Nottinghamshire, grew up in Clumber Park and went to the Hartland Comprehensive School in Worksop.

Since the last election, I’ve worked hard for Broxtowe by:

  • Fighting to save our greenbelt land from the council’s planned developments – any new housing should be built on brownfield land, not our much-loved countryside
  • Saving Toton Library from closure – preserving a vital local service
  • Campaigning for free parking – to ease the burden on local people and help our high streets thrive
  • Securing £100,000 compensation for businesses and shops on High Road and Chilwell Road – to help local traders affected by the tram works in Beeston

By working with local people, I’ve got a lot done for our community. There’s still a long way to go, both locally and nationally, but we’re going in the right direction.

If you vote for me, I’ll work hard to continue the progress we’re making as a community.
