Conservative Party Chairman Grant Shapps has today welcomed two new members to the party's team of Vice Chairmen.
The team of MPs and senior representatives is joined today by senior volunteer Wendy Morton as Vice Chairman for Social Action and Rebecca Harris MP, Vice Chairman for Youth.
Wendy Morton is an experienced campaigner who has already coordinated the party's social action projects in Africa. She will oversee social action projects in the UK and abroad.
As Vice Chairman for Youth, Rebecca Harris MP is responsible for the party's youth engagement strategy. She takes over from departing Vice Chairman Andrew Stephenson.
Conservative Party Chairman Grant Shapps MP said: 'I'd like to thank Andrew and Nicola for the great work they've put in over the last few years - they'll be a tough act to follow. I'm also delighted to welcome Wendy and Rebecca to the team at CCHQ. 'Between them they bring a great deal of experience, and they will make an important contribution to the party.
'They'll also be crucial to the running of Team2015 - our new initiative to get more people volunteering with the party.
