Christopher Davies has been selected as the Conservative Party's prospective parliamentary candidate for Brecon and Radnorshire ahead of the 2015 General Election.
Christopher, the practise manager for a group of veterinary surgeons, is currently a county councillor on Powys County Council and in 2011 stood for the Party in the Welsh Assembly Elections, where he reduced the incumbent AM's majority by half.
Married with two children, Christopher is also heavily involved in countryside issues and has been involved in the Royal Welsh Agricultural Society since his teens. A former auctioneer he has also volunteered his skills for a number of charity auctions, raising thousands of pounds of charities such as the NSPCC, the Children's Society and Help for Heroes.
Christopher said his political priorities included health, housing, education and rural issues, but that his main priority would be to give the constituency "a strong and clear voice."
