Newcastle-Under-Lyme Conservatives have selected Councillor Tony Cox as their Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for the 2015 General Election.

Tony is a 35 year old engineer who started his career serving a four-year apprenticeship. A local councillor, re-elected in 2012, Tony has also been the vice-chairman of Governors at a primary school. Deeply involved in his local community, Tony has been married to Trisha for almost seven years.

Speaking after his selection, Tony said: “I am honoured to have been selected as the Conservative candidate for Newcastle-under-Lyme, and am looking forward to speaking to as many residents in our constituency as possible over the next 2 years.

I want to hear what local people see as the priorities for their communities. I want people to see that I will listen and act on their behalf.

I am looking forward to the prospect of representing the people of Newcastle under Lyme as their member of parliament."
