National Assembly Member for North Wales, Mark Allan Isherwood, has been selected as the Conservative Party's Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for Delwyn ahead of the 2015 General Election.
Mark has a wealth of political experience. He is a member of the National Assembly for Wales as Welsh Conservative Assembly Member for North Wales. At the Assembly his roles include Shadow Minister for Housing, Member of the Communities, Equality and Local Government Committee and Member of the Standards Committee.
He also chairs several cross party groups including groups on fuel poverty, hospices and palliative care, and disability.
Having represented Delyn in his role as Welsh Conservative Assembly Member for North Wales he has an in depth knowledge of the local organisations and the issues residents feel passionate about.
Mark is very active in the community and his voluntary work includes being a trustee of Families Need Fathers - Both Parents Matter Cymru, a patron of Tyddyn Bach HIV/AIDS Respite Centre and the British Association of Social Workers, and Vice President of the North Wales Disability Resources Centre.
When he has free time, he enjoys spending it with his wife, six children and one grandchild, as well as reading and sailing.
