At Prime Minister's Questions David Cameron asked about the British soldiers who had been killed by an Afghan policeman, and commented on the Kelly report into MP's expenses.

Cameron asked about what immediate steps were being taken to safeguard our forces, "given that even as we speak British soldiers are living and working side by side with the Afghan National Police right across Helmand".

He also asked about efforts to clean up the Afghan National Police, describing it as "an institution that’s clearly gone wrong but is essential to the success of our strategy".

Commenting on Sir Christopher Kelly's report into parliamentary expenses and allowances, Cameron called on MPs to "welcome and accept in full" its findings.

He said that from now on MPs "should not vote on our pay, pensions, terms of service, resettlement and expenses packages". Adding, "isn’t that an essential part of restoring faith in Parliament, politics and this House of Commons that we all care about?".
