St Peter's Church Community Hall and Gardens in Fairwater was the place for a recent return visit by the Social Action team and Conservative Future (CF) to help once more with the on-going project of creating a garden for the local community.

Some of you will remember the project from Spring Forum in Cardiff last year where members of the Party from across the country together with MPs, CF and local councillors teamed up to help St Peters with their project by clearing the gardens, laying new turf and creating flower beds.

The return group of Conservative Future and local members also included Andrew RT Davies AM, Cllr Craig Williams and Karen Robson, and everyone got stuck in to clear and sort tree debris which will later be used to create a fence around a flower garden. It was fantastic to see how the garden had changed, and continues to go from strength to strength since last year. As ever, the people at St Peters were so welcoming, and it was good to be back.

A great day was had by all.
