Get Involved

Become part of Social Action today. Do your bit to create social change.

We believe that there is such a thing as society; it's just not the same thing as the state.

And the best way to demonstrate this is through Social Action rather than just words. Individuals across the country make fantastic contributions to their communities through small-scale, local voluntary action.

Our aim is to emulate their example by setting up, learning from and supporting Social Action projects to help transform struggling communities. And we need your support to make our projects a success.

1. Local projects

Many of our local Conservative Associations and candidates run Social Action projects in their areas - and they're always on the lookout for volunteers so do contact your local Association to see if there is a project in your area.

Alternatively set up your own project! The more grassroots projects there are, the more likely it is for communities to flourish. Perhaps there are specific issues in your area which you think you would like to address? If this is something that interests you then please contact us on the below email address with your postal address and we will send you our 7 step guide to setting up your own Social Action Social Action project.

If you have run a Social Action project, please fill out this form as we would love to hear about it.

2. Conference project

Each year we run a large-scale project at our Party Conference. We are always looking for volunteers to help out - see the Conference Handbook for details or visit the information stand.

3. Training Courses

For more information on a training course happening near you and who your regional Social Action Coordinator is, contact James Anderson: socialaction@conservatives.com
