The Conservative Party Conference is an ideal occasion to present your company message and detailed below are a variety of ways in which you can successfully get this valuable message across to the conference audience. Alternatively, we are happy to work with your organisation to create a unique branding package. Banners/Posters
Banners and posters can be rigged throughout Central Hall of Manchester Central (outside of the conference auditorium area) to convey your important message to conference representatives. You may also see your banners during live TV coverage or during the many news bulletin programmes.
You will be responsible for banner production, however, if you require assistance, please let Fingerprint Events know. The prices quoted in the Promotional and Branding Form, are for ‘sites only’. Please contact Fingerprint Events for banner material and rigging information.
Bookmark - Conference Handbook
A bookmark will be frequently used by delegates to plan their days using the Conference Handbook. Either print your company logo and message and/or list all your fringe events/activities on this card, so that delegates are encouraged to attend your events at Conference.
Conference Delegate WiFi & Seating Area
Last year a leading daily newspaper group sponsored this activity. As part of the package Party Member representatives were invited to collect a WiFi branded card from the Information Desk to enable them to use this service. We also designated WiFi Zone Seating points (with power supply) for representatives to use as work stations. These are for WiFi users only (colour coded passes - Party Members only).
Conference Literature Racks
This was a new activity at the event last year and was very successful. A leading daily newspaper group branded the Literature Racks and delegates were able to collect their daily newspaper from various locations throughout the conference complex. Sponsors will again have the opportunity of displaying their newspaper, magazine, brochure or leaflets with their logo and branding on the racks for visual promotion. These racks will be placed at several strategic sites within the secure zone site.
Conference Literature Rack Leaflet/Flyer Inserts
We will also be allowing other groups/organisations the opportunity to display their leaflets/flyers (up to A5 size, printed on both sides, maximum number 2,000) on the literature racks for delegates to ‘pick-up’ additional conference information. This will assist you with the distribution of flyers within the secure zone. Please note that we do not allow the distribution of leaflets within the secure zone by hand. Groups/organisations will be given the opportunity to advertise on a standard sized placard above their literature. You may promote your meeting or fringe events on the flyers.
Conference Internet Café
The exhibition area will feature an internet café where representatives will have the facility to check emails and browse the internet (free of charge). An opportunity exists to have your company ‘home page’ as the starter for each monitor. You might also add your company logo or promote your services by branding the stand, located in Central Hall.
Hotel Distribution
Reach a selected, high profile audience of senior Frontbench Spokespersons, Conservative Party VIP’s, top commercial representatives and key political journalists by ensuring that your message, promotional item or ‘goodie bags’ are placed in each bedroom in The Midland Hotel during the four days of the conference.
Hotel Key Card Holders
Promote your organisation, service or event on our hotel key card inserts. All guests staying at The Midland Hotel will receive this holder at the time of check-in and will continually use it, for the duration of their stay.
Online Fringe Listing Banner
The interactive fringe listing service is used extensively by representatives to create their conference diary activities. Representatives can view/select events by date, topic or company. They can then export their selected events to their electronic calendars or simply print them out. There is an opportunity for your organisation to brand the main header with either a static or rolling banner, including a link through to your company website.
Pass Lanyards
Brand these and see your company logo on every representative at the conference. If you wish, select and brand a particular group (i.e. Party Members, Parliamentary, Commercial or Media representatives). Sponsorship will include a half page colour advert in the conference handbook.
Recycling Sponsor
For the past four years we have had a sponsor for all recyclable materials - paper, plastic, cans and bottles. These items are collected in individually marked bins which are placed at strategic positions within the secure island site complex. These items are then collected by the sponsor and used as recycling material. The package includes a half page colour advert in the conference handbook and a limited number of conference security passes for your crew (subject to accreditation).
Security Search Channel Branding Sites
Branding banner sites are available for organisations to display their message/logo at the 2 security search channels entrance areas for the event. Given that these are the only 2 locations for obtaining access to the secure island site, they have a very high ‘foot-fall’ and are an ideal visual location for branding. In Manchester in 2009, one of the main search channel entrance site was accessed no fewer than 17,000 times by attendees in one day!
Stair Risers
Have your company logo displayed on a chosen set of stairs at Manchester Central (both inside and outside the complex).
Video Wall
The Video Wall will be on display in Charter Foyer at Manchester Central (a large space with catering facilities and seating next to the main exhibition and retail mall areas). The 3 x large 65 inch screens will provide conference coverage and Viewpress advertising. The area will also have a catering facility, so that delegates can watch the screens whilst having refreshments. On screen advertising and branded display panels are included within this sponsorship, together with a listing within the exhibition section of the handbook and online listings.
Viewpress TV
Viewpress TV offers you a unique platform to advertise to influential political figures and like-minded delegates in a secure captive environment, providing you with an excellent platform to promote your product or message. As well as featuring your advertisement, the monitors also show conference coverage and an instant messaging service at the conference.
Viewpress Monitor Stand Branding
Brand all the plasma stands with your logo or promote your message for visual impact. These monitors are strategically placed in main seating/catering areas throughout the complex.
