Venue
Hilton Brighton Metropole Hotel
Occupying a prime location on the seafront, the Hilton Brighton Metropole is a full-service hotel who pride themselves on providing a personalised service in a relaxed setting. With 340 guest rooms and 4 suites, as well as a restaurant, 2 bars and one of Europe's largest residential conference centres - the Hilton Metropole has everything you could ask for in a conference hotel.
The Hilton Metropole boasts the largest meeting space in Brighton with 9 exhibition halls and 28 meeting rooms. The purpose built hotel and conference facilities are both comprehensive and flexible. The Spring Forum will be held in the Oxford Suite and the exhibition in the Cambridge & Durham Suites. Fringe meetings will be held in the many other conference suites and meetings rooms within the hotels facilities.

IMPORTANT: The Hilton Brighton Metropole will be a secure site. In order to access the venue during the event a security conference pass is required. Please ensure that you have applied for a photographic security pass before trying to visit this venue during the conference. Please go to the Accreditation section to register for a pass.
National Convention
The National Convention Meeting will take place on Saturday 27th and will commence at 10.00am. All party members are welcome to attend.
The agenda is currently being finalised for this meeting, please come back to this page at a later date.
Agenda
Following the National Convention Meeting, the Spring Forum sessions commence after lunch on Saturday 27th February and will continue all afternoon. On Sunday 28th February the conference sessions will commence at 10.00am, there will be a break for lunch and the conference will close mid-afternoon.

Accommodation
The Conservative Party has reserved all the bedrooms at the Hilton Metropole, the main conference hotel. If you wish to book accommodation at this secure site, please send an email requesting a booking form to: shama.hussain@fingerprintevents.com.

Travel Information
Brighton is easily accessible by road, rail and air.
Road: From London take the M25 motorway to junction 7, signposted M23 (Brighton). Take the M23 southbound. The M23 becomes the A23 and takes you into Brighton town centre. Follow the signs for the seafront and the Hilton Metropole is situated on the A259 seafront road, close to the West Pier.
Rail: There are direct services from London Victoria station to Brighton. These trains leave every 30
minutes and the journey takes approximately 50 minutes.
Direct train services are also available from London Bridge station to Brighton and take approximately 60 minutes.
Brighton is also on a direct rail link from the Eurostar Service at St Pancras.
From Brighton train station, taxis are available to take you to the Hilton Metropole or you may wish to take a 10 minute walk down to the seafront.
Air: London Gatwick airport is just half an hour from Brighton and both London Gatwick and London Heathrow are accessible by regular coach connection. By train from London Gatwick airport you can travel directly to Brighton from Gatwick South Terminal.
From Heathrow (Terminal 1, 2 or 3) take the 15-minute Heathrow Express train to Paddington in London. At Paddington take a 20-minute circle line journey to Victoria. From Victoria catch a train to Brighton which takes approximately 50 minutes.

Advertising: The Spring Forum handbook is the essential guide to what is happening during the 2 days of the Forum. It contains details of the daily agenda, exhibitor listing, events happening on the fringe, as welll as general information for representatives. A limited number of opportunities are available for your organisation to advertise in this conference guide, such as the cover pages or opposite the fringe listings.
Please print off the Advertising Form, which contains prices for advertising, mechanical data and deadlines. Complete and return to reserve your space.

Branding: Branding opportunities are available at this event and Fingerprint Events will be happy to provide you with a package to suit your budget. Banners and posters displayed in positions throughout the complex; branding the lanyards; branded inserts for packs; branded flyers for the conference literature racks. Communicate your message at the main entrance search channel areas. Contact a member of the Fingerprint Events team for further information on these and other branding opportunities.
Exhibition: Exhibiting at the Spring Forum will give your organisation an exceptional chance to convey your message or promote your company's services to an extensive audience including key decision makers.
With your stand booking, you will receive:
- Complimentary listing in the handbook
- Complimentary* exhibitor and exhibior technician passes (4 in total)
The exhibition will be situated in the Cambridge and Durham Suites (see floor plan). Catering and seating facilities will be provided in this area.
Exhibitors can either reserve 'space only' or shell scheme' sites. A fee of £1,250.00 is applicable for commercial organisations. Those organisations that have a registered charity may book the site at a fee of £1,000.00. Amounts listed are excluding VAT. Purchase orders (if applicable) will be necessary for invoicing.
Please note that the fees apply to stands upto a 3m x 3m size. If you wish to book a site larger than this, please contact Azahar at Fingerprint Events. If you wish to reserve a stand space for your organisation, please complete the Stand Request Form and return to Fingerprint Events. We will endeavour to allocate your first choice, but due to high demand this cannot always be guaranteed.
On receipt of the request form, Fingerprint Events will issue a confirmation of your allocated position, an invoice (from CCHQ Finance Dept) and the terms and conditions.
Disclosures:
Electoral Commission: Under the Political Parties, Elections and Referendum's Act 2000 (PPERA 2000) section 52 (3), there is no requirement to treat the hire of an exhibition stand at a conference, as a donation to a political party. The costs shown in this brochure are all below the "reasonable maximum rate" agreed by the Electoral Commission.
Party: The hire of conference exhibition space represents a commercial service at a fair market value and is not required to be disclosed in the Conservative Party annual accounts.

Fringe: There are a variety of rooms available for hosting meetings, receptions and formal events.
Within the Secure Zone:
If you wish to organise functions within the secure zone (the Hilton Brighton Metropole) please note the following important information:
- Fringe request deadline date: 14th December 2009.
- Once you have submitted your request, allocations will be confirmed immediately.
- You will be responsible for the Room Hire, Catering, AV and any other equipment costs.
- Room hire rates vary depending on your event, set up and audience numbers. Prices start at £250.00 per slot (ex VAT).
- Timings: Saturday 27th: 08.30 to 09.30; 12.30 to 13.30; 17.30 to 18.30; 19.30 to 20.30 and 21.30 to 22.30. Sunday 28th: 08.30 to 09.30 and 12.30 to 13.30. (The Conference Agenda may affect these timings).
- If you wish to submit request for events outside of these timings - please indicate this on the request form and we shall try to accommodate this.
- Conference passes are required at all times within the secure zone.
- You will receive ONE complimentary Fringe (Reception & Events) pass, if you are successful in holding an event within the secure zone.
Please complete the Fringe Request Form and ensure you complete all sections.
Outside the Secure Zone: Rooms are being held at the Holiday Inn, The Old Ship and The Grand hotels for those organisations that wish to host an event outside the secure zone. If you need a venue for your event, please contact VisitBrighton who are offering a complimentary venue finding service.

Fringe Listing: For a fee of £100.00 (including VAT) per listing (text only), we will provide the following:
- Conference Handbook Listing - Fringe Section
- Online Fringe Listing - through www.conservatives.com - On-line Fringe Events Section.
You will need to complete the following information; Organisation Name, Title of Event, Date,
Time, Location and Speakers. - Fringe Listing Submission deadline date: 22 January 2010
If you wish to list your event please complete the Fringe Listing Form.
Passes: Passes are available for Commercial, Charity, Exhibitor and Exhibitor Technicians. Please go to the 'Accreditation' section above to register.
Sponsorship & Promotions:
Events: Commercial support is available for a number of events (receptions, lunches and the Spring Forum Dinner), as well as specific Party fringe meetings. Fringe meetings discuss matters on specialist topics (local government, health, transport, environment etc). Attendance can range from 20 to 400 people.
We are offering organisations the opportunity to exclusively sponsor the Spring Forum Dinner (which had an attendance of 350 in Cheltenham last year). Alternatively, you may wish to sponsor certain activities: pre-dinner drinks reception; menu cards, place settings; flowers; goodie bags etc.
Hotel Key Card Holders: Every guest checking into the Hilton Metropole Hotel will receive a hotel key card holder - which you may use to promote your logo, organisation, service or event.
Hotel Room Drop: Reach a selected, high profile audience of guests by ensuring that your message or promotional item is placed in each bedroom in the Hilton Metropole Hotel.
Lanyards: Issued to every attendee with their security conference pass. See you company logo or message worn by the 2,000 attendees.
